FB Graph Search - Restaurants

Last Tuesday, on 15th Jan 2013, Facebook announced something that they have been “building” – Graph Search. Facebook Graph Search is basically a new search engine that searches the massive library of data on Facebook.

Here are some interesting links you should check out:-

A lot of people are worried that their private data will now be searchable on Facebook’s social search engine. Facebook promptly released this video to explain to you how things work. Basically, if the info is shared with you, you can search for it. If it was private and not visible to you, you won’t see it in the results.

The service is slowly rolling out to everyone. If you’re impatient and want to get to try it first, go to http://www.facebook.com/graphsearch to jump the queue on the waiting list.

Question of the Week

Are you excited about the new Blackberry 10 OS and its upcoming devices? Or do you think Blackberry is “Dead on Arrival”?

Let me know in the comments section.

Bonus : Woman followed her faulty GPS and drive 900 miles the wrong way

[symple_toggle title=”Show Article”]

In the age where we rely more and more on technology, how ignorant should we get to let things like this happen?

Read the story on Daily Mail : Belgian woman blindly drove 900 miles across Europe as she followed broken GPS instead of 38-miles to the station

GPS error

The questions are aplenty:-

  • How can she not notice that she’s driven into different countries? The languages on road signs should give it away, no?
  • Can she not tell when she stopped to refill her petrol, or to take a nap?
  • What happened to her friend she’s supposed to pick up? Is the friend still waiting at the station?

Comments are funny. And yes, I agree – this woman should have her license revoked.

Thank you once again for checking out this week’s video. Will see you all again with a new video next week!

PS. It’s not easy making videos, I tell ya. Research, shooting, editing, uploading. For the effort and time I put into making these videos, it would make me so happy if you would *LIKE*, COMMENT, and SHARE this video with everyone.

PPS. If you don’t enjoy the video at all, let me know, too. I can use the time to produce other posts and/or videos instead. 🙂
